❤️ Our events consist of a fun and productive social environment where barriers are broken and confidence is thriving. All participants are supporting each other and creating a unique experience that embodies the BAM movement.
We want to start by thanking you for your interest in this event. This forum is dedicated to all interested participants. Each position is limited though and participation fees vary. Therefore, below if you simply want to read about your specific category, you can find it in BOLD . The motivation of this event is knowledge, promotion, exhibition, entertainment, exposure, creativity, and in order to build together. If this is an experience you've always wanted and its just for a fun time, that's also welcome! To those looking to grow with it, the exposure of your name, talent, business, being, will be a benefit to you. This can open many doors for you in the near future! Everyone will be promoting each other with this event. The plan is to have fun, be professional, expose ourselves to new people, and achieve a goal of opening doors together. Everyone involved will put their part in order to make this whole event possible!
BASIC DETAILS: The MODELS will be made up by the HAIR/MAKE-UP ARTISTS and use the BUSINESS products as visual tools (props), which will all be captured by the PHOTOGRAPHERS/VIDEOGRAPHERS, to which the CREW helps everything flow and assist in this dynamic. All these photos, experiences, moments, etc. will be exposed on social media and serve as promotion for everyone involved.
Each BAM event is given a specific unique name which is always announced!

*Exactly where will be sent via whatsapp using SEND LOCATION. This will be sent to participants before the event.
Time: This is determined by each person. The basic production will be ready from 8am until 6:30pm ( at the latest.) Each person decides if they enjoy the entire event or what time they can attend. This is VERY important to notify us so we can coordinate accordingly!
In 2016 when BowAndArrow started to thrive, we knew we were different. Although we were considered a 'boutique' we were not your typical stereotype label. We were being admired for our different approach and this is where we wanted to no longer just make it known that we carry such sizes, but thrive on WHY we carry the diverse sizes. We began this movement by doing various photoshoots with different body type models; different heights, widths, and length. We wanted to protrude the truth; that your smile and positivity is what makes you stand out, not your body shape.
During our BAM Events, it's not only about the talent of modeling, but to all talent of the island. (Production, small businesses, etc)
❤️ In order to be a model at our events, you just have to be a human with a smile. First timers or complete professionals can join this innovative movement. There are always 'TRY-ON' dates prior to the BAM Event date. They will be announced and you only need to pick one to attend. This is mandatory because it speeds up and helps the flow of the wardrobe change the day of the event; so that you know what you are going to model before the event and you can choose what makes you feel comfortable. Please come WITHOUT makeup to the TRY-ON DATE. Your FIRST time being part of the event requires that on the TRY-ON DATE, you bring a printed headshot photo. Please, no angle shots. We need it passport style, but it can be a regular 4x6 photo. This photo will stay with us to place in your file along with your MODEL RELEASE FORM. A MODEL RELEASE FORM is a form indicating that as a model you understand the procedures and contracts. All this is explained to you in at your TRY ON DATE.
Event day: Each model will know exactly what they are going to model before this day arrives. This allows you to match your shoes to your outfits. We recommend that each one carry a bag with their necessities. A makeup artist will be applying your makeup.
💄 We know that the world of Hair and MakeUp is an art in itself. Here is a great opportunity to promote yourself, show off your talent, and be part of the BAM events and their message! Your talent is mega important in events like this! It is a pride for each model to be able to show off your talent on their face. Just as they will have photos of your work to be able to promote the talent through social networks. This can bring you clients for your intimate and special events. The models are indicated to bring their own concealer/foundation, and lipstick on the day of the event. If you would like them to provide other material, please let us know so we can let them know before the event. You are the professional so we trust your talent.
📸🎥 You are the heart of the operation. We can all be ready but without you, there is no show! We have different photographers working with different models at the same time in order to take advantage of the time and the different styles/garments of each model. Their portfolios will be full of photos with different POV's and faces. The models, us, the businesses, the makeup artists, EVERYONE will be exhibiting their work! This is good if you work doing quinceañeros, parties, weddings, photoshooting, etc. because it opens doors for you to be contacted to do work.
🔋 This crew is what keeps things flowing smoothly! Your assistance with everything will help make many things easier. It's also always good to have BTS(behind the scene) videos and photos of not only the models/MUA/photographers but of each other. Your participation is greatly appreciated and does not require much instructions. 😊
🏬 Your product is mega important in this event. Having it present at the event is what will allow exposure and be able to use it as a PROP in the photos. In addition to being part of this event, your business will have new photos, new promoters, new recognitions, new involvement, etc. It is a pride to have local businesses represented! Everything promoted in the photos and by the participants will be an advantage for you as well as for all those who are involved in this day. You are more than welcome to invite your work team to spend it with everyone as well. This opportunity is excellent especially if your business is in its early years, and even if it isn't…there's no such thing as TOO MUCH publicity.
